Rock climbing

You may be a complete beginner looking to take your first steps or an experienced climber looking to advance further. Rock climbing offers (trad)itional climbing, sport climbing, bouldering, a whole range of disciplines with something to suit you. First we talk; then I tailor a bespoke experience and training for you, so you can achieve the most throughout your day. All locations are considered to choose the best conditions.

Ridges

Thinking of breaking away from hill walking? Keen for some training before heading to the Alps? The UK hosts some great mountain ridges which provide exhilarating fluidity over the peaks. With a more adventurous approach to this playground, we can escape the crowds, gain some exposure and build your mountaineering skills. Maybe the most sought after ridge in the UK, The Cuillin Ridge, is what you’re after.

Location

Your climbing and mountaineering can take you all over the world. And I am able to guide you wherever you wish to go. Climbs in England, Scotland and Wales are regular locations for rock climbing and ridges. Locations can be discussed to find the best options for you. As your guided experience will be tailored to you, we can pick and choose which area, region and climbs would suit you best. If you want long ridges in the UK, then Scotland is likely to be the best option.

Equipment

What do you need for rock and ridges? Well, not a great deal. I have equipment such and helmets and harnesses for hire. All you need is suitable clothing for the conditions, a rucksack and a few other essentials. Once you have booked, you will receive a full kit list for your chosen activity.
